Action Hellas Organizes the 1st Green Business Congress
Action Hellas – along with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and in association with the Financial Times – is organizing the 1st Green Business Congress, set for March 6th at the headquarters of the ACCI. The Congress is under the auspices of the European Union’s Commissioner for the Environment.
The mission of the 1st Green Business Congress is to promote the initiatives of leading companies in the field of green entrepreneurship, to support environmentally-friendly investments, and to initiate constructive dialogue between businesses, governmental organizations and NGOs.
“Our team is gearing up to make the 1st Green Business Congress an enormous success,” said Spyros Kouroupis, Country Manager for Action Hellas. “We are excited to be partnered with the ACCI and the Financial Times, and to be hosting an event that will help businesses here in Greece execute sustainable growth strategies.”
Currently scheduled sessions at the Congress include “Green Entrepreneurship and International Crisis,” “Successful Case Studies of Green Entrepreneurship,” and “City of Tomorrow - Green Society.” Speakers include EU Commissioner for the Environment Stavros Dimas, President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry Konstantinos Michalos and President of the Environmental Protection Commission of the Greek Parliament Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
