Action Bulgaria Takes BULATSA Higher!

On 27 February 2009, Action Global Communications Bulgaria arranged, promoted and hosted a full-day celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA). Action organized a press conference, followed by a specialized seminar devoted to the history, the recent achievements and the future aims of BULATSA. The day concluded with an elegant cocktail party attended by Mr. Petar Mutafchiev, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Bulgaria, along with a number of Bulgarian officials, foreign guests and BULATSA employees.

Some of the major achievements of BULATSA during the last several years are the successful completion of the construction and the procurement of the equipment of the Common National Air Traffic Control Centre (CNATCC), the consolidation of service provision for the entire Bulgarian airspace into a single flight information region (Sofia FIR) and the award of a Certificate for conformity to the ISO 9001:2000 international standard.
