In late August 2009, Action's agencies in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria got the news that their joint pitch for Samsung Consumer Electronics' regional public relations campaign had been successful. The Action Levant team, led by Jordan Country Manager Bashir Mraish, consists of Toufic El Zein from Beirut, and Khaled Ayloush, who is based in Damascus.
The Action Levant team will devise a regional public relations and communications strategy with tailor-made local programmes to accomplish Samsung's goal - increased local and regional awareness of Samsung's brand and products, as well as strengthened overall brand presence.
