Economy: Tunisia has a diverse economy with important agricultural, mining, tourism, and manufacturing sectors. Governmental control of economic affairs has gradually lessened over the past decade with increasing privatization, simplification of the tax structure, and a prudent approach to debt. Progressive social policies have helped raise living conditions in Tunisia relative to the region. Real growth, which averaged almost 5% over the past decade, reached 6.3% in 2007 due to development in non-textile manufacturing, a recovery in agricultural production, and strong growth in the services sector.
Based in Tunis, Action Global Communications Tunisia was established in 1999 – one of the first companies to introduce the concept of public relations to Tunisia.
Action started its activities in Tunisia as British Airways’ PR agency and remains so to this day. It also offers its services to companies operating in other sectors, including aviation, industry, international institutions, banking, etc.
Dorsaf Mezhoud - Country Manager
Dorsaf Mezhoud joined Action Global Communications Tunisia in 2003.
Dorsaf began her career in 1997 as a communication manager with Sony Tunisia. Her passion for advertising encouraged her to join an advertising agency and later, in 2000, she made the move into public relations when she managed the PR department of an international franchisee.
Dorsaf has a postgraduate degree in Languages Applied to International Commerce from the Sorbonne University in Paris. She also has a postgraduate degree in Applied English Linguistics.
